About the camp

What is Little Money Makers?

A five-day holiday bootcamp where children run Sprout Street, a little town with a bank, a market and a shop. They do a job, get paid in Kidz Cash, and learn to spend, save and give by doing it, not by being told.

Who is it for?

Children aged 6 to 8. Is your child 5? Choose Little Money Makers when you register and we’ll confirm the place with you before you pay. Children aged 9 to 12 suit Future Investors, our camp the following week.

Is it real money?

No. Children use Kidz Cash, our pretend currency. Nothing involves real money.

My child isn't good at maths. Is that okay?

Yes. Everything is hands-on and game-based, pitched to their age. Many children find money easier once they can hold it.

What if my child is shy?

Every child has a role in a small team, and our staff draw quieter children in. Confidence grows through the week.

What is the L.I.F.E. approach?

Leadership, Investing, Finance and Earning. In Little Money Makers that means a job in town and a say in team choices, saving at the Seed Bank, using Spend, Save and Give jars, and a payday every afternoon.

How big is the group?

Up to 25 children with 3 adults: a lead instructor and 2 support staff.

What will my child learn?

Where money comes from, needs and wants, Spend, Save and Give, saving for a goal, buying and selling, and giving and budgeting.

What life skills do they build?

Honest and Fair, Kind Heart, Keep Growing and Team Player. Children earn these as leaves on their own Growing Tree.

A day at camp

When and where?

Monday 7 to Friday 11 December 2026, 9am to 3pm each day, at SJI International Elementary School, 19 Toa Payoh West, Singapore 318876.

Where do I drop off and pick up?

Camp is at SJI International Elementary School, 19 Toa Payoh West, Singapore 318876. We’ll confirm the exact drop-off point, pick-up point and parking details in your parent guide.

What does a day look like?

Every day includes an Arrival Jar Check (which jar did I use most?), a Sprout Street job, money games and making, story time in the Story Patch, and payday at the bank, where pay is split into three jars.

What should my child bring?

A packed lunch and a water bottle. We provide snacks and all materials. All food brought to camp must be nut-free.

Is the camp nut-free?

All food brought to camp must be nut-free. We take reasonable steps to manage the allergies you tell us about, but the camp is not an allergen-free environment.

What about allergies and medical needs?

Tell us in the “Allergies or medical notes” box when you register. We share these notes only with staff who need them to care for your child.

Do you need an emergency contact?

Yes. The booking form asks for an emergency contact’s name and mobile for each child.

Who looks after the children?

A lead instructor and 2 support staff, with up to 25 children.

Questions

Can families come on Friday?

Yes. Families join at 2pm on Friday to see everything the children grew: the Harvest Market, the class’s chosen cause and graduation.

Does my child give real money to the cause?

The class chooses a real cause. KidzEconomy makes a real donation from its own funds; your child does not need to bring or give money.

What does my child take home?

A My Money Garden book with stickers, their own Growing Tree, a KidzBank junior card and lanyard, a certificate, a home jar kit to keep the habit going, and a KidzEconomy goodie bag.

How can we keep it going at home?

The home jar kit lets your child keep splitting money into Spend, Save and Give. Ask your child which jar they used most, just like the Arrival Jar Check at camp.

Prices, booking and policies

How much does it cost?

S$799 per child. The launch price is S$699 for the first 15 children per camp, or until 25 November 2026, whichever comes first. The price includes snacks, materials and the goodie bag.

Are there discounts?

Siblings: S$50 off each extra child. A friend who books with your referral code receives S$50 off, and the referring family earns a S$50 future-camp credit after the friend’s payment has been received and verified by KidzEconomy. The credit is not a cash payout. It is automatically applied to the referring family’s next booking when they use the same parent email address. One available credit can be used per booking; it is reserved for 24 hours while payment is pending and becomes used only after that booking’s payment is verified. If that booking is marked Failed or Refunded, the credit is released. A future-camp credit cannot be combined with a promo or referral code, but the sibling discount can still apply. Approved promo codes also give S$50 off. Only one S$50 promo or referral discount applies to each child; each additional sibling receives the sibling discount instead.

Can I book both camps?

Yes. If you have a child aged 6 to 8 and another aged 9 to 12, book each into their own camp. The sibling discount applies to each extra child.

How do I book?

1. Fill in the form: choose the camp and add your child’s details. It takes about 3 minutes. 2. Pay by PayNow. 3. Once payment is received and verified, get your confirmation, receipt and parent guide by email.

How do I pay?

By PayNow to KidzEconomy (UEN 202423333D). Scan the QR in your banking app, enter the exact amount, and type your booking reference in the reference field. Then email your payment screenshot as instructed on the booking page.

How long is my place held?

24 hours from registering. If payment hasn’t arrived by then, the place may be released.

When will I hear back?

Once your payment arrives and is verified, usually within one working day, we’ll email your confirmation, receipt and parent guide.

Is GST charged?

No. KidzEconomy is not GST-registered.

What is your refund policy?

Fees are non-refundable after payment, except for special cases reviewed individually or if KidzEconomy cancels the camp. There are no refunds for missed days. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

What if the camp doesn’t go ahead?

If we cancel a camp, including if it doesn’t reach 15 children, you get a full refund.

Will my child be photographed?

Only if you agree. Consent for photos, videos and testimonials is optional and never a condition of booking. Without it, your child still joins every activity. We leave them out of published photos and videos, or blur them where that isn’t possible.

How do you protect my data?

We follow Singapore’s PDPA. Medical and allergy notes go only to staff who need them. Our Data Protection Officer is Anand (anand@kidzeconomy.com). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can my employer sponsor my child’s place?

Yes. Companies can fully or partly sponsor places for employees’ children, and parents still book the place themselves. Ask your HR team to email anand@kidzeconomy.com.

Who do I contact?

Anand at anand@kidzeconomy.com or Braden at braden@kidzeconomy.com.
